Description
The Beretta M92 is a series of 9mm semi-auto pistol first manufactured by Beretta(Italy) in 1976, which evolved from earlier Beretta designs, the M1923 and M1952. In 1985, the United States Armed Forces replaced the M1911A1, which served the US military since 1924, with the Beretta M9. The M9 is the US military designation for the Beretta 92FS, which carry more ammo and have less strong recoil. In present days, the M9 is still a standard-issue pistol of the US military but the SIG Sauer P320 had won the XM17 Modular Handgun System competition in January 2017 and will replace the M9 in the future.
